General Posting Guidelines for KM Forum
- Search first
It may just be a coincidence that your problem is also another user’s problem and may have been addressed on the KM Forum before. So please do use the search feature first to see if there are already some good threads on the subject. It’s pretty easy to search – just click the “Search” button at the top of the page!
- Be descriptive and don’t use ambiguous topic names
Please post a descriptive topic name and give a short summary of your problem in the subject. Attention grabbing topics don’t garner attention and only put off people.
DON’T POST :
Help me, Hello, Super/ very urgent, I have a question…
Generally anything similar to the above is unacceptable. Simplicity goes a long way, so just post your problem in a simplistic manner.
Here is a good example of a way to post a question:
“how to understand the difference between abstract class and interface”
Or
“where can I download the latest version of windows 10”
Please be patient, help people out by posting good descriptions of what you need help with, and don’t retort/snap at people with language such as “if you aren’t going to help don’t waste my time replying”. Remember when people answer your questions or help you, they are doing YOU a favor.
